I. New version of Printer's Apprentice

Welcome to the fifth installment of the Lose Your Mind Development
newsletter. We are VERY busy with a major new release of Printer's
Apprentice. Of course, we don't have a release date. But we will keep
you informed!

In the meantime, we have posted a maintenance release of PA on the
web site. This version fixes a few minor bugs listed in the section
below. We also have a full changes.txt file posted on the web site.

We have gotten a few reports from users who have noted that Printer's
Apprentice does not display or print Type 1 fonts used with
Adobe Type Manager under Windows NT 4.0. We are working on this 
problem and will have a fix for this soon.

Because these recent fixes have been so minor, we have not been incrementing
the version number. We have just been updating the release date that is 
in the Printer's Apprentice About box.

Printer's Apprentice 6.54 - 3/16/98
- Fixed a problem with the printed ANSI chart that caused a horizontal
  line to extend out from the lower left corner of the bounding box.
  It was quite ugly. Thanks to DP for pointing this out.

Printer's Apprentice 6.54 - 3/12/98
- Updated readme.txt file with list of OCX/DLL system files used by 
  PA. The version numbers on a few files on the list were out of date
  and did not correspond with the files that we actually ship.
- Updated Order Form in Help File with proper telephone number to 
  call if you have a problem with your order.
- Fixed a problem that happened if a printer was not installed. PA
  would crash. Now it displays a message box indicating that PA
  requires a print driver to run.
- Fixed Options dialog box so Printer Reset text box would accept
  double digit numbers.
